Spacious 3-Bed Lodge with Hot Tub Near Waterpark and Trails

There has plenty of room for the 5 guests (+ baby). The heating worked very well when needed and the property was nice and cool in the summer heat when not needed. Liked that there was an extra toilet that could be used when the main bathroom was occupied. The kitchen is a good size. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen and children well catered for with crockery and cutlery. There was also a highchair and stair gate in a cupboard if needed. TV worked really well by signing in to our accounts so the kids were happy in the evenings. Massive deck on the back of the property would have been perfect for alfresco dinning but we didn’t use it other than to store our bikes. It’s great that this property is one of the ones that is not overlooked. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms cool at night which was perfect in the summer heat.

Would be good if matches were available or a long necked lighter as we burnt our fingers a number of times lighting the gas hob. The iron and ironing board could do with an update as the ironing board is wobbly and the cable on the iron is damaged. The oven only has one rack and there is only one roasting pan so difficult to cook for 5 people when needing to use the oven. Ended up moving the bed in the main bedroom so it was against an internal wall so that it was possible to sit up (feeding baby at night). There is plenty of room to do that so although it wasn’t used by us it might be an idea to mount the tv in that room on the window wall. The key to the front door was a little sticky and got stuck in the door a couple of times.

Location and well equipped for a family.

Cleanliness could have been better. Cutlery and some of the kitchen equipment was dirty. Hot tub water was mucky and smelled. Found the filter to be blocked and dirty once it was cleaned the water was better but still smelled.
