Spacious 3-Bed Lodge with Hot Tub Near Waterpark and Trails

Loved where the lodge was at on the site.

Cobwebs all over inside windows. Could have been cleaned better.

The natural environment and the hot tub. Bathrooms and kitchen were great. Towels were lush and showers really powerful. Beds were comfortable. Lots of storage too Loved sitting on balcony listening to birds and loved the overgrown natural areas with blackberry bushes and wild strawberries...orchids were even growing!

The site: Not pedestrian friendly. Which was a shame as no walk in the woods, no information about how to get to lake or the bridleway and getting to and from the exit or shop etc could have been easier Swimming centre is more for families. More information about this would have been helpful as we were encouraged to get a weekly swim ticket but found it difficult to book adult only time. Lodge: You really need a cafetiere, more teatowels, to leave a few essentials like salt and pepper and washing up liquid Maybe move double bed to opposite window and balcony so you can see trees and able to sit up in bed. As pitch of roof difficult in double bedroom and bathroom.

This was our first family stay away from home since having our daughter. It was the perfect setting! The lodge was lovely and the location so so beautiful up in the tree tops. There was a stairgate in the cupboard which was very handy as well! They couldn't have been more helpful when I had questions in the lead up to our stay. We hope to return in the future!

The downstairs shower could do with some tlc. A couple of tea and coffee sachets would have been nice to settle in with. The map sent to us, the lodge was in the wrong place. What three words for parking was correct but googlemaps doesn't link up. After driving round for a while we went onto finlake website to get a map with lodge numbers on.

Loved the location, so much around for family and dog walks. Loved the info pack put together was very useful! The cabin was great size, hot tub was lush and commutation from company was great throughout.

The cot we paid extra for wasn’t a cot, it was a travel cot and I think broken. We had to put pillows under it or our daughter would have pretty much been sleeping on hard floor. It was ok, we got around it but would have just brought our own if we k ew it was a travel cot.

Lovely location. Great facilities.

Lovely lodge, great for the children with the toys and digital TV. Very comfy beds.

Downstairs shower was leaking rather heavy over the course of the 4 days which felt a little unnerving. The jets in the hot tub didnt all work. The lodge felt a little close to the road which was rather busy so just something to be aware of with children.
