Mt Eden Kingsland At the heart of it all

Great communication. Great location, a short walk to Eden Park for family event we were attending. Lovely unit. Warm, modern.

Lawns overgrown. Driveway and walkway still in progress, which was outlined by hosts, but overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

Great to have a full size fridge and washing machine as a family with a young child (we didn’t use the latter but if we’d stayed longer we would have). The apartment had everything we needed.

The bed in the smaller room has a loud spring, it was fine for our young child but probably wouldn’t work for adults.

Very clean and spacious, situated near shops and public transport with good connections to the city centre.

Based on the photos, the place looked ideal and the reviews were similarly very good. There were some nice elements like the bathroom area was very good, a nice and practical kitchen. If it was a family, there are lots of toys and books, even recipe books to deny the takeaways down the road Roomy and space to spread out a little, backyard for kids.

Both beds were too soft and rolled into the middle so that always make for an uncomfortable night's rest. The driveway/entrance to the property is down a loose metal scoria track with some semi steps at the bottom would would pose a health and safety risk in some situations. There is neither heating or cooling in the place, no heatpump and with high ceilings, that will be fine in summer. I noticed other comments about the WIFI and it was extremely flaky. Often disconnected and single strength very low when tested (approx 10-12MBS). It would have been passable if it wasnt for the fact it kept dropping out. The place itself is quiet if it wasnt for the upstairs owners area echoing thumping from above with most foot steps quite audible below.

Everything was great from the hosts friendly and welcoming nature to the superb location to the layout of the studio, cleanliness and all the amenities.

NA Renovations are still ongoing externally but overall was happy with everything.
