Lovely city town house with free parking sleeps 2 to 6 guests

A really lovely home close to the city centre.

Great little house in fantastic location. Walkable into York. Parking available outside property. Excellent communication with host who was so helpful and responsive.

Nothing - all good. It is an old townhouse so has some quirks but it was great for a group of friends

Host is excellent, checking in on us to make sure everything ok. Left a kind gesture for my daughter’s birthday too. Excellent communication.

Home is great although only one bathroom in home and is downstairs,, all bedrooms upstairs. .

Great communication from the owner before and during our stay. House has everything you need and has three comfortable bedrooms upstairs and a good layout downstairs.

The house was lovely, cosy and clean in a great location. The host was very attentive and a great communicator. Would definitely book again.

The toilet being downstairs was fine for us but some older people might struggle with that. We’d have liked a bin upstairs. It’s a small issue which didn’t negatively impact our stay, we loved this stay and the property.

The location was very good. The rooms were a good size.

The landlord kindly let us in the property earlier than the arrival time but the boiler was off owing to a leaky radiator in the master bedroom. The house was very cold because of that but she instructed us as to how to put the boiler on which we managed to do. The house soon warmed up but the small bedroom was still very cold. We couldn't get the smart TV to work either. The following day an engineer came and fixed the radiator. The landlord came to check everything was OK and she couldn't get the TV to work either. That night my granddaughter was sick so I put some clothes in the washer. There were no instructions so i messaged the owner who didn't reply. I set off the washer and hoped for the best. The water filled up but the drum didn't rotate. At the end of the cycle the clothes were soaking wet and still covered in sick. I ended up washing them by hand. I misplaced a pen so checked down the side of the settee and found the pen plus a pair of specs. My granddaughter misplaced a toy which I found under her bed and another pair of random specs. The house was fine apart from these few issues. I realise it was probably difficult to get an engineer over New Year holidays and it was just unfortunate it coincided with our visit.

The owner was brill. Had a little issue with the boiler, but she rang back within 5 minutes of messaging her all sorted in 10 minutes 😀
