Lovely city town house with free parking sleeps 2 to 6 guests

We had a super stay - really clear communication before hand, very well accommodated for with a cot provided in one room. Parking provided. Good space for socialising inside and out. A very short walk to the walls and the centre of York, also a short walk to supermarkets. We had an excellent trip.

Fantastic location just on the fringe of town. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Fitted out very well. Accommodating hosts who were reachable during our stay. Overall we had a very good experience.

The carpet in the house has a slight musty smell to it. We noticed it mainly when checking in, though after opening up it became less of an issue. The master bed was a little firm for our liking, though that's a personal preference.

Host Beatrice was just lovely! Very communicative and flexible. She set us up nicely and really went above and beyond with all the details. The baby crib was set up and all the beds were made nicely. It was a very clean place and we'd stay there again!

The bathroom being downstairs in the back corner wasn't ideal, but that was just simply the layout. It was inconvenient when a kid had to use the bathroom in the night.

Such a nice house within walking distance of central York. Beautifully clean. Lovely extra touches to make our stay special.

There was an issue in getting hot water, but the property owner was very responsive and came immediately to help us with the issue.

The outdoor area was great

The house had visible signs of damp in the living room. The travel cot provided had stains on it. The cleanliness was not great in general and a pair of socks were found in the dining room! There was also a very large insect found in the bathroom. The general standard of the accommodation was poor.l and the host did not always get back to us when asking a question.
