Withnell Stays - Apartment Four - Ground Floor

The apartment was really nice and spacious and rooms and beds was really nice and really stay here again

Few small issues and tryed contact staff to inform them, told they call me back via text and that was all, also the property was really cold even with the fire left on for 12 hours, had to all put extra clothing on to keep warm

Large apartment. Plenty of space. Decent sized bedrooms.

No hot water for showers, despite following instructions given.

Property’s looked really nice on the booking system however nothing like it upon arrival

The property seemed to be unfinished with wires still coming out the walls. The bathrooms were very dirty in areas and smelt of urine. The toilet seats were not secured to the toilet. There were lots of dust, cobwebs and other debris around the apartment. Upon arrive there were all used baby nappy’s beer bottles and general rubbish around the entrance. The ground outside was very ruff due to slate chipping a. We got into the property and wanted to rest due to the long drive and the cleaner knocked on the door and wanted to use the facilities which we found very bazaar. Not what you would expect.

No hot water!!! Oh god why didn't I check the reviews fully before I made this booking. Beware - please read the previous reviews and type in "Heating" & search . Then type in Hot Water & search. I stopped counting when I saw 40 bad reviews regarding this accommodation re heading and hot water. We had to boil a kettle to wash for the whole stay and had to have a shower at the waterpark instead. Outside door didn't lock and felt un-safe. Bathroom had a smell of urine. No bin lid, so you could smell the rubbish. Hairdryer left under the kitchen cupboard sink in a mess. Car park space and alley was a bit of a mess. We did contact the host about the hot water as soon as we arrived and again the next day and the day we left and the issues wasn't resolved. If you have the same issues please file a complaint with Booking.com directly and your receive some compensation as did. When we complained directly to the host this was their reply "as this is not a direct booking with ourselves you will need to speak to your booking partner".

Hosts assisted straight away with queries

There was heating on when we arrived but s as free we went out none. Followed instructions about hot water and got none. 2, family members attempted cold showers. Rest of us declined. We where there only one night so showered at home
