County House Escape - courtyard & free parking

Good location. Nicely furnished. Very clean and modern

Parking was ridiculous/non existent. Had to park in public car park twice as other residents block cars in. The window wasn’t locked. A huge ground floor window that anyone could have opened and got into. The ground floor courtyard had a flimsy gate that easily could have been opened. As a lone female traveller it was very worrying that the window was not locked. I had some expensive items left in the flat during the daytime, these could easily have been stolen. The locks are there on the windows but were not in position. I also removed the back door key from the door and left it out of sight. Security measures need to be stepped up.

Apartment was very clean and has plenty of facilities in it. The bed was very comfortable. Great location to explore York. We had a lovely stay.

Suggestion could be a toilet roll holder attached to the side of the basin in the bathroom. The patio / courtyard area has a of weeds in it which made the outside area look a bit untidy.

The location was perfect everything from restaurants to pubs were on our doorstep. The fact that there were no charges for parking was a HUGE bonus.

I had to put up a £250.00 deposit for damages. Couldn't relax in fear of breaking something the whole time we were there.

Very clean and close to the centre

Very close to the east monk bar of the city. The apartment was at ground level with secure access to car park and building. The apartment was kitted out with everything you would need. Big shower which was easy to use. The bed was extremely comfy.

Very peaceful location with no noise from neighbouring flats or from outside. Kitchen was well equipped and appliances placed in good positions. Very comfortable bed and beautifully fluffy towels!

Just very small points - no toilet roll holder in bathroom and the kettle frequently switched itself off mid-boil.

Great accommodation.....clean,comfortable ,excellent facilities and in a great place...... Very peaceful.

The sofa could have been a little more comfortable and a small table to put cups on by sofa.......but not a major thing.The positives far out weighed anything!j

Instructions were good and it was easy to find and get in. The apartment was really lovely and comfortable and well equipped in the kitchen! Perfect for our stay and a great location!

The sofa bed was the only thing we could find that wasn't good as it was very very uncomfortable and is in need of a thicker or different mattress or replacing completely. We also found it quite noisy in the night from apartments above.

Well equipped, easy parking. Good instructions and welcome information. Great location, walkable with children.

Mattress on the sofa bed was a bit thin. No other issues
