County House Escape - courtyard & free parking

A very comfortable apartment with excellent facilities. Everything was very clean and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location close to the centre of York is excellent, but it is still very quiet. We appreciated having a parking space too.

During our stay the temperature was around freezing and it was initially hard to heat the living room, however once warm we found the apartment very cosy.

Excellent communication with the hosts. Property was very clean. We had everything we needed, for a short stay the kitchen was well stocked . Ideal location with a short walk into town. Bonus was the great parking space in a secure gated area literally just outside the door. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Only thing microwave smelt of curry possibly from previous visitors might be worth cleaner checking when cleaning

Convenient location, clean and bright

The sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable! The haphazard basket of random open tea bags and coffee (including out of date!) and no pods for the machine was a bit of a let down!

The location of this property is very good. It’s a couple minutes walk to the centre of York and there’s a Sainsbury’s right next door.

A short walk to the city centre and a car parking space. Spotlessly clean. We had no problem with the shower as some have reported. Would gladly book this property again.

this property was lovely, it was clean and very cosy and warm. the bed was very comfortable and large enough for two people. the location was amazing and we would definitely stay there again.
