County House Escape - courtyard & free parking

Nice apartment with good facilities and great location. Check in instructions were clear and easy. Safe secure free parking is a real bonus.

We travelled as 4 adults. Those sleeping on the sofa bed said it was very uncomfortable. Would probably be more suited for children than adults. Water pressure is poor.

Excellent location, a short walk into the City, a supermarket next door, plenty of pubs, restaurants and takeaways around the corner. Very secure for bikers as parking is within 24hour security gates. The apartment was superb and kitted out with everything you could need.

The location was excellent. Their was great to have a designated parking space outside and the apartment was great.

Difficult to give any negatives but if being picky, the sofa was a bit uncomfortable.

Absolutely fantastic property - modern interior within a historic building, comfortable bed, excellent facilities including washing machine, dishwasher etc. Great outside area (courtyard) and perfect location just outside the city walls and York Minster a short walk away. Add to this the free secure parking just outside the property - a perfect location to explore the City of York.

The only thing that let’s the property down is the really low water pressure.

very straightforward

The apartment is smart, comfortable, quiet and clean with convenient free parking and easy walking distance of city centre, good restaurants and shops including Sainsburys next door.

Minor drawbacks of low water pressure, gurgling pipes and squeaky bathroom door. None of these detracted from an excellent stay.

Clean, central location with gated parking. Peaceful and quiet location. Lovely high ceilings and well stocked kitchen.

Water pressure was a bit bad but can’t be helped in a flat.

A well presented comfortable apartment with a good size kitchen and lounge area. Large bedroom with a really comfortable bed. Modern shower room. The apartment is in a great location just a few minutes from the centre of York. There is a Sainsburys supermarket just behind the building which is really handy.
