Kona Beach Studio for Couples Relaxing Island Retreat-Beach Gear Included

Overall, our stay was unfortunately below expectations. The location is convenient and well-situated, and the staff was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We truly appreciated their efforts. However, the cleanliness of the unit left a lot to be desired. The bathroom, particularly the toilet, did not feel properly cleaned upon arrival. The bed linens appeared and felt as though they may have been previously used, and neither the sheets nor the towels had the fresh scent one would normally expect from freshly laundered items. To make matters worse, we even found a fingernail in the bed that clearly did not belong to us. Another issue was the air conditioning, which struggled to adequately cool the unit and was not sufficient for the size of the space, making the stay less comfortable than expected. While the location and communication were positive aspects, we cannot honestly say that this accommodation offers good value for the price paid. With better attention to cleanliness and maintenance, it could be a much more enjoyable place to stay. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend it from a value-for-money perspective.

Sowohl die Strasse ist sehr laut als auch die Nachbarn in der Wohnung oben drüber. Man hört jeden Schritt und kann somit kaum schlafen. Sehr schlechte Statik des Gebäudes.

It was very quite and relaxing, nice beach views

Good location for anything on the west side of the island (Kona, airport, many beaches etc.). Cute studio, well organised and clean. Market next door is a plus. Sunset from the nearby beach is a must see.

Bonne situation géographique. Piscine, bain à remous.

Manque de matériel pour cuisiner ( pas de passoire). Sommier taché sur le côté. Logement pas très propre.

The location was ok. We were hoping to be closer to more restaurants and the pool/hot tub.

There was not enough silverware in the condo - not even for just two people - especially the forks. We had to keep washing the throughout our stay. The curtain rod is not very stable. It fell down with just one towel hanging over it and my husband rehung it. The coffee pot is old and the heating element is rusty. The filters in the condo were not the right size, but we did find the reuseable cone-shaped one that worked fine. We appreciated the owner checking in on us during the storms.
