Very Large Double Room with Corner Sofa, Sky TV, Netflix etc, Fridge and Microwave

Bed was good if duvet too heavy

No seat to watch tv and no Freesat

The location of the property was within the radius we needed for our ongoing trip. The things to like was it was spacious and were able to watch TV from the sofa.

Very disappointing that tea and coffee facilities lacked milk, lacked teabags and the sugar was a mix of coffee and sugar and the advertised fridge was broken, despite being plugged into the wall. We did have a comfortable night despite there being no locks on the bedroom door. The room was covered in cobwebs. The disappointment was compounded by the lack of hot water for the shower. Being a newbuild it is so disappointing that the boiler was not functioning and the messages we had for access failed to mention this. Instead they seemed more worried about dirtying the carpets by asking to remove footwear outside, then to walk in and find dirty carpets. Finally they provided washing up liquid, expecting you to clean the plates in the down stairs toilet with cold water.

The size of the room was good.

I would not recommend this place to stay! upon arrival I bumped into the host who was not friendly or welcoming. The hosts actually live in the house, I found it. Strange as they didn't introduce themselves or even make me feel comfortable. Let alone welcome. There was no lock on the door, so there was no privacy or. safety, The coffee was dry and hard, part of the blinds were broken and were not blacked out. The TV was placed so high, it was impossible to watch it without breaking your neck; and located in a stupid position. The bed was soft and uncomfortable. The towel appeared to have long blonde hairs on there. And the heater was stone cold. It took a few messages and a few phone calls and a few knocks on the door to have the host come. And get the heater going. Location was private, residential and very boring and who the hell drinks skimmed milk!

Just a 20 minute walk into town.

I had to park my motorcycle on the path as no room on the driveway.

It was very clean with plenty of choices to do within the room, TV, games and books. Basic cutlery and crockery provided with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Bed comfortable and nice to have toilet next door.

Would be nice to have lock on door. My Dad ran a B and B in France for many years change of use from private house and fitted Yale locks on bedrooms very easily
