Two bed flat in popular York Rd

The flat was cold there were a lot of heaters to correct for this

The flat hasn't been cleaned. There was food in the fridge from the last guests, crumbs on the side, a used towel on the floor, a broken toilet seat, no bed sheet on the bed, linen in the washing machine (clean? Dirty? Who knows?) no door Matt meant the carpet was dirrtttyyy

Good location near to high street. On street parking, but not right outside. Essential equipment was provided.

Metal staircase could do with more lighting, and slippery when wet. Flat was cold, but electric wall heaters were provided, which would probably have been sufficient, but it was a bitterly cold night. Hot water bottles and blankets were provided. Flat decor and furniture functional but dated.

The property was great, very clean, the location,the facilities except for the heaters, the apt needs more heaters and maybe a few heated throws during the winter! The shops/ eateries/ in the area are all fantastic.

No heating, it was absolutely freezing cold, we had heaters on, thankfully there were blankets and throws but it definitely needs an upgrade of new heaters as the three we had in the lounge just didnt cut the cold February evening! This also meant the bedrooms were colder as we had to use the heaters in the lounge area , 2 out of three worked but not the best, this accommodation is great, if the owner invested in proper heating it would be 10/10 and id stay there every time i was going to the hare and hounds events as it’s literally across the street. My other moan was i was not told of the door code.. thankfully the woman downstairs in the pub knew it and kindly let us in, and notified the landlord, otherwise we would of been stranded, as never got a response from booking.com. Had amazing food at the tapas restaurant-a few doors down and late breakfast/brunch at the garden cafe and it was delicious, would definitely stay again but i’ll be packing a heated throw blanket. Option to check out at 12 would be good too. Just buy some more heaters, sort out the door code and it’s a great property. X

The bar across the road plays music until quite late (3 or 4 am on a Saturday night), don’t forget your earplugs like I did!
