The beds are broken , the covers of beds old and dirty , the garden is dirty , the kitchen facilities dirty

Quirky little house in a quiet area. It was cosy and warm. Close to a take away and shops. Really enjoyed our stay.

Parking in the street itself was a nightmare, so would recommend parking on the main road but not very far to walk. Toilet door didn't have a lock on it and wouldn't stay shut on its own.

Good property for short breaks. Really great location for travel into city centre either by bus or walking.

The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need. The location was perfect for us we drove into york every day which was a ten min drive. I'd advise to book online for parking just outside of york and walk in as it is very expensive to park inside the walls. We parked at barbican road car park and it was £11 for the day.

The house is on a very narrow street with cars double parked all the way up, we have a large family sized car so had to park at the bottom of the street and walk up as we couldn't turn the car around. This isn't a reflection on the house itself though and wasnt much of an issue. It didnt hinder our stay.

Nice location, parking was good, about 40 min walk into town.

Mould in en suite bathroom, hot tap did not work on bath, tiles in main bathroom broken in the floor, very sharp edges, no plug for wash basin. Could do with a better selection of crockery/utensils for kitchen, more tea towels would have been ideal.

The sofa was really uncomfortable. There was no washing machine, which would have come in handy being a family and the single bed was uncomfortable. But very minor things, we had a lovely time. The house did the job. Thanks for having us xx
