House was nicely presented and spacious.

There was a strange smell in the property and the back bedroom flooring was coming apart with gsos in the flooring. The back bedroom bed wad uncomfortable snd the bedding on the single bed was not made up. I was going to make it up for my son as bedding was there. But when I pulled the duvet off the bottom sheet was full of black bits. The other 2 beds where clean. But this put my son off yo the point that he slept on top of the bedding in the other double room. Which was a shame as the property is spacious and clean everywhere else. The smell downstairs smelt like a combination of grease and smoke. Parking was awkward limited turning space had to reverse out which was made more difficult by a delivery van parking inappropriately. Location of property was great within easy links to bus stop etc. The property would of been perfect apart from little things above. I wasn't going to mention them but thought I would alert owners about them so that they didn't get negative views from someone else. It was great having 2 bathrooms and overall layout and decoration of property homely. Just minor issues with cleaning and flooring in the backbedroom.

We’re do you start ,dirty stains , mucky carpets, the greasy kitchen is falling to bits, cob webs , doors hanging off , the list goes on , this property is not rentable

The property is in a very quiet street with free parking. The house is cosy but still quite spacious and having 2 bathrooms was great. The kitchen was well equipped except for dish cloths/tea towels. The heating system worked well and WiFi was excellent. We had a problem finding the gas switch for the cooker and the host was quick to reply when we contacted him and although he was not in town he got someone to sort us out very quickly.

The property location was great close to city centre and railway station. The house was a good size and the extra bathroom was a good surprise. Large fridge freezer in kitchen.

The property was not overly clean, particularly in the shower and behind and under furniture. The back bedroom stank of smoke when we arrived. It took a long time to get the property warm. No indication that hot water ran on an immersion tank, until we were in the middle of baths and showers on first morning. Bare basics provided- no tea towels in kitchen, we had to go and buy utensils to cook with. No washing machine, which for a family staying is always handy! There was nothing to clean floors with, no hoover or mop or even a brush! Single bed in front bedroom, slats were broken. No curtains, only blinds in the rooms added to the cold especially in the night. Safety issues- downstairs smoke alarm doesn’t work and no access or key to back door, even if owner didn’t want us to use the outside, this is a major fire safety risk! Outside bin was almost full when we arrived so we struggled by the end of the week for rubbish disposal. No recycling bins provided.
