Little Cosy Getaway - York

The environment was very clean and the landlord was very welcoming.

Dirty, smelly when entering the property (smelt very bad indeed), poor beds you could feel the springs, cobwebs everywhere, bathroom floors especially sticky and dirty, had to wipe them so we could get out of the bath and shower. Toilet brushes disgusting with traces of poo on them. Broken tiles on bathroom floor making it dangerous to walk on. Kitchen was disgusting - cupboards greasy, cobwebs all over walls, no teaspoons (managed to find 1), 5 people staying in the property but only enough crockery for 4 people. Would not use the cooker or hob as dirty and greasy. No tv at all, had to log onto our own Netflix to be able to watch tv. Banister wobbly and all sticky, unsafe. Carpet dirty on landing. We were only given a key for the front door. God forbid there was a fire and we couldn't access the front door there would be no way to get out. No gas safety certificate displayed anywhere and co detector not dated so not sure if in date or not. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Definitely would not visit again. Booking.com need to take this off their listing whilst this property has major improvements

Very surprised on entering the house as it is modernised to a Great modern n standard as it would used to have been an old two up two down, excellent for family or couple. Would love there tomorrow or let for as long as possible. You won't be disappointed, price location and amenities spot on

Nothing to dislikes, house in great order and everything you need. Only one thing, there's no washing machine but you can't have everything snd I suppose this could be abused with the energy costs at the moment but for the price ho for it.DONT MISS OUT

Close to the bus stop and train station. In a very quiet location

Some mold in the shower and blinds were a bit dusty

Location iwas awesome. House was airy ,nice and clean. Bus stop close to property. York station less than 10 minutes drive away. Two bathrooms facilties. Owner is a good communicator.

There was not shower facility available in the property only bath. There were also missing laundry facilities. However, we all enjoyed our stay in the York Thanks to Booking.com and Little Cosy Getaway.
