Kitchen not well setup for self catering. Cookware needs updating. Turntable in microwave didn’t rotate.

Accessible to City Centre at York, quiet area.

All pervading smell of building chemicals throughout the house which permeated our clothing. Beds were good if you liked sleeping on a thin mattress of uncomfortable springs and very low to get out of, not suitable for disabled. Bed linens were tired needed replacing for new. Obviously the house is being renovated and not yet wholely ready for paying guests but will be better when finished, I am sure. Bit overpriced whilst in current state. We could not access rear yard for a smoker in party.

Good clean but the aerial for the tv is broken at the wall and could not get the oven to work? But apart from that it is comfortable and just what we wanted. Thanks.

The location was great for walking into York!

It was a little dated, needing some TLC in some areas and the flooring in the back room was dangerous.

Location suited us well - about a 20 min walk to centre of York and well serviced by buses

the weather was really warm and we couldn't open some of the windows to let air in the pics make it look cosier than it is in reality

No bedding for one bed, only 2 mugs for 5 people, last tenants dirty laundry left, unclean kitchen with food stains and dead flies, sticky floors, outside rubbish left with flies coming into house, broken floorboards, wires hanging out on floor in kitchen, crumbs and papers left under beds, one dirty tea towel, stains on most surfaces. No refund offered. We had to leave and book into a hotel for last day and night.

Lounge and bedrooms and bathrooms were ok. Internet WiFi was ok.

Location was bit far from city centre, it seemed property was closed for long time and not cleaned regularly. Found thin layer of dust and cobwebs everywhere. Cleaner was sent after many complaints
