Drake St, close to York station and York Centre

Convinient location, good quality large sofa bed.

Cluttered in places, ed door openings were tight.

10 minutes walk from the station and into town, 5 minutes to a weatherspoons and Sainsbury local round the corner. Apartment as expected, as described, sofa and bed very comfy. Everything you need there except a frying pan strangely.

Not being able to change heating, as a very warm person it was too intense when on, changing the radiators made no difference and was cold when it was off. What appeared to be an old, battered, bottle of smart price hand wash in the bathroom, not pump action so have to pick up, just look grubby.

This was a gem of a find! Close to York Centre, wonderfully furnished with everything you need. It was perfect for my partner and I. It was quiet and comfortable, and very clean. Self check in was easy. Everything was fine and we will book again when we return to York.

Front door lock needs attention when turning key sometimes doesn't lock

York Team were very helpful in guiding us through the process of retrieving the key, and allowing us to store our bags inside the property until check in time. Supplies of tea, coffee, sugar and milk satchels in the kitchen very helpful. Having a washing machine and dryer in the apartment was a big plus.

Shower cubicle very small and no proper towel rails to hang towels so that they actually dry between use (hooks don't aerate towels sufficiently). No fry pan supplied in kitchen equipment, although an egg lifter/spatula was supplied. Internet was very unreliable, only seemed to work in the kitchen. Apartment became quite stuffy when closed for the day, had to air the place by opening the back door for a short time. Footpath from York train station to apartment was not easy to navigate with wheelie suitcases due to works being done, and rough surfaces.
