The City House by Tas

Location was great for us - we were planning to visit Duxford, and it is only a 10 minute drive away. The street was in a nice area and fairly quiet. The house is large and is good value for money, and most of it was clean and comfortable.

The main issue was that the kitchen utensils, cutlery, dishes and plates weren't clean. There was food residue and marks on lots of the dishes, some had been left in the dishwasher, and it was like the dishwasher wasn't cleaning things properly. There was a used washing up sponge which was dirty, but no new or clean sponge to use, so trying to wash these thigns so we could use them was difficult. We contacted the property management who were responsive, and we provided photos, but there was no other follow up.

Spacious and comfortable.

The water pressure in the bathroom is a bit low.

Very spacious house, comfy beds and excellent value for money. Modern clean bathrooms and good location for Cambridge and Audley End.

Stairs were very steep and 2 flights with no turn so not great for young children or elderly. The handrail was difficult to hold as it was close to the wall, a handrail on the other side would be helpful. Dishwasher wasnt washing very well and oven had food on the bottom.

Wifi signal is strong but reception very bad. Strange.

Had everything I needed to cook meals, rooms and bathrooms were clean and location was great as near the train station. Free parking was incredibly useful. Very pretty house too!

I had to phone up the company to ask how to pay as for some reason it wasn't automatic on booking.com.
