"Great apartment"

Only code needed. Interesting area / district. Clean. Sitting outside at the front door / on the balcony in complete silence and watching the sun go down. Very quick response to service requirements.

Requires €300 deposit before getting the code. Balcony window has no key to unlock.

"Money hungry property owner"

There is washing machine for us to do laundry.

We added an arrival time at 3pm via booking.com but the property owner replied that the cost would be 25 euros for early check-in at 3pm instead of 4pm. Besides, the property owner asked us to bank transfer 300 euros to their bank account on the day of arrival. I wasn't aware of this deposit requirement at all and as a traveler on a family trip I had no way to do a bank transfer. After going through back and forth, they sent us a link for check-in and I added a credit card in their online check-in form for securing the 300 euros deposit. I wondered why they didn't provide the credit card way in the first place since it is more common. Now for the facilities, we found a loosen tap in the toilet and some of the radiators did not work. The maintenance team came the next day trying to fix the radiator but we found that none of them worked any more when we returned.
