Panna Vilas - A Lake Facing Boutique Hotel

The hotel is located right next to Fatehpur Sagar Lake, Which already puts this hotel above a lot of the others in the city center, The property showed me 3 available rooms for the category is booked, 2 on the ground floor and one on the 1st floor, I decided to go with the one on the 1st floor as the view from up there is impeccable. The room and the premises were totally super duper CLEANNNN! The staff was very hospitable and friendly, Cherry on the top? They have a really cute dog on the premises and they also employ physically challenged people. Overall a worth it stay!

The food in their rooftop restaurant was MID at best! We went there once for lunch, where we ordered 4 things out of them only the "Crispy Corn" were nice, rest were almost bland. All the pizza tasted was of Black Pepper and that's it. Also the property does not have a pool.

The location and décor of the place was really good.

We booked a "lake-facing king room" months in advance and paid extra for it, but upon arrival, the reception told us the room was "subject to availability" and already occupied. We were given a different room for the first night and moved to the correct one on day two—only to barely enjoy it due to an early flight. The reception staff was indifferent and unhelpful, acting like they didn’t care at all. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this price and reputation. I expect better from a place that charges extra for specific rooms.

The hotel had a great and accommodating staff. The location across the water was pretty.

The mattress was very uncomfortable. Most importantly, there was no hot water for us to take a shower with, the hotel gave us another room for showering purposes, but that room didn't have hot water either. They really tried to fix the issue, but they couldn't fix the problem, therefore, we ended up with no hot water.

It should advertise as road facing instead of lake facing.

Rooms were almost on road . Too much commotion.

Location is excellent as it is directly opposite Fatehsagar lake. Rooms are lovely. The rooftop restaurant and bar are excellent. The staff is very friendly.

There are no lifts to go upstairs.
