Poppy's on the Lagoon

Pool, size of room and lagoon views from pool and restaurant were all lovely. Staff were very friendly, restaurant meal (massive steaks) and in room breakfasts all great.

Someone started pressure washing right outside our window in the morning and woke us up . Hot water in the shower didn’t seem to work/stay on for more than a minute.

Annie from the kitchen and Rachel from reception were amazing.

The toilet kept making noises throughout the day and night. The heater/aircon in the room wasn't working well. Airport transport was asked to be booked in advance and I even checked with Julie on the morning of checkout, very disappointing that the driver was a no show and an alternate transport had to be arranged, this caused a lot of stress as this was my return flight home.

The breakfast everyday was beautiful and the staff were beautiful. Everything we needed available.

Not convenient to lagoon,

great comfy beds, rooms were well equipped and comfortable!

our first room had a leaking shower and no hot water. we moved rooms and our second room had a toilet that kept blocking, a shower that did not drain properly and a luke warm shower. The staff tried their best to help and were lovely but the bathrooms just needed a lot of TLC

Food was not at I expected

Location was great close enough to town but out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were friendly and helpful re information and booking tours and doing what they could to make our stay enjoyable. The villa we stayed in was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Kayaks were available to use for free and there were two swimming pools: a wonderful day spa and a restaurant and bar onsite

The only issue that disappointed was the shower which was difficult to get a constant temperature when showering .
