George & Dragon Hotel

I ended up not staying the night as I was so disappointed.

The hotel was advertised as having food. No evening meal was available. I asked the staff about where to eat nearby nearby. They had no information and could not tell me if breakfast would be available in the morning. The decor was poor. The staff were unfriendly and I was not confident about security.

Staying in a historic building. We even got a visit from "Suki" the ghost!

The heating (or lack of it) - very cold first night! No instructions to work the heater. No heating in the very cold bathroom.

Nice second night stay. Breakfast & service was good. Warm room, comfortable bed.

As mentioned, kettle area should be better - a cord so it reaches the table. Food available as per web advertisement & signs outside .

i like the location & nice setting. Bed was comfortable, nice and warm room with window view of a courtyard.

It would be nice if more food was available. Better area for kettle .

The location was excellent.

The addition of the parking fees, a bit over the top for this location.

Every thing was satisfactory would definitely consider booking here again if I’m in the area

Nothing really only the TV remote was missing from the room when asked the staff was told the previous tenants had taken it!

Unsafe electrical fittings. Dirty bin. Kettle couldn't be used safely due to short lead. Curtain pole broken which fell on myself. Very shabby.

The breakfast times were on the sheet handed to me, but then only to be told it was not available until 9 am. Room was tired. Broken basin in the en-suite.

Character olde worldy feel to hotel and pub Room was clean and quiet
