Bedrooms were spacious

Expected a lounge area and hot tub, but got neither. No water in bathroom. Cooking utensils dirty. Bed linen dirty. Curtains dirty. Lake was more like a pond.

A nice quiet location

Lots of spiders in the rooms No welcome package apart from handsoap, toilet roll and towel. Had one part used toilet roll per room which we had to ration on the last evening. Bit stingy considering it was expensive

The Lodge was class, beautifully designed and exactly what we needed for a few days. There was a slight mix up thinking we had booked a Lodge with a hot tub which wasnt the case, however staff were great to help out and explain.

There was an issue with the door, which was fixed promptly by the fantastic staff. However, in one of the bedrooms there was no way to shut the curtains so had to sleep with the window exposed, the amount of cobwebs in the villa as well would suggest it hadnt been cleaned properly in quite some time. I can appreciate high ceilings and hard to get, but I moved a bedside table to put my phone in charge and down the side of the bed was enough cobwebs and spiders to say nobody had cleaned there in a while. This was throughout the house, in the kitchen next to the key rack, plenty cobwebs. Was a little disappointing.

The staff were all so friendly & helpful. The animals were a bonus we were not expecting, so tame & the fact we could feed them too! The location was perfect, just a short drive from Sandringham Estate, where we were going to a concert. The lodges were well equipped & comfortable.

That we couldn't stay longer!

The lodges themselves are really premium – everything feels high quality, with excellent bathrooms, fantastic water pressure, very secure surroundings, and strong WiFi. You can tell a lot of money has been put into the build and fittings.

The place really needed a deep clean – there were cobwebs and bugs around which let it down. Basics like shower gel weren’t provided, toilet roll was limited, and the check-in/check-out system felt a bit unfair: you can’t check in until 4pm, have to be out by 10am, and yet you’re also expected to strip the beds and take your own rubbish out.

Nicely decorated and good size

Blind in bedroom broken so couldn’t not use. Internet didn’t work so could not watch tv. Front door broken so could not unlock. Lodge was very hot and would only give us one fan.

Very peaceful place. Great cabins. Lovely space.

No wash machine.

Great location, nice and quiet. Everything was new.

The surrounding scenery is so beautiful. The facilities were clean and I was satisfied with my stay.
