Charlie's El Nido Managed by HII

Close to Lio beach which was good but the shuttles are very infrequent. The scenery was pretty. The shuttle to and from the airport was easy, free, and convenient. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was ok.

Since it wasn't really close to anything, we found ourselves eating at the Charlie's restaurant A LOT which was not great because their menu seems extensive but only a few things were actually good. We asked for toilet paper 6 times one day and they kept saying they would send it to our room and never sent it so we ended up having to go to the bathrooms by the restaurant and taking a roll from there. When the AC was on, it leaked so much that we had to put towels underneath it otherwise there would be HUGE puddles on the floor. The shower was always cold, no matter what you did it would be cold and then for 1 minute be burning hot, then right back to cold.

Not much selection on the buffet but the food being served is nice. My son got a little sick from the travel and couldn’t eat right away in the morning. The staff are very understanding and let us take some food back to our room, which we really appreciate. The room we got is very spacious, with big beds and a balcony. The shower pressure is a bit weak but the handheld one works fine which I find a bit odd. The pool is clean and maintained regularly. The property also has a small gym but we are not able to use it as we are always out.

A bit far from the Town Centre, however there is a scheduled shuttle being offered by the hotel. You will have to arrange your own tricycle if you miss one, which will cost you 300 pesos for 2 ppl per trip.

Alles war sehr modern und schön. Der pool war perfekt und auch das frühstück war super.. im grosen und ganzen hatten wir einen guten aufenthalt.. würde das standart zeibettzimmer aber nicht empfehlen..

Wir hatten das standart zweibettzimmer.. es war sehr klein.. keine chance mit 2 grossen koffern.. wir schoben die betten zusammen, dass es einigermaßen ging... zudem war unser zimmer im keller.. es war extrem feucht.. unsere klamotten waren alle feucht.. zudem hatten wir keine möglichkeit die strandklamotten nach drausen zu hängen...

It is conveniently located 10 mins from the airport and Lio Estate. Lio estate has a nice manicured beach, that can be accessed thru free shuttle service. It’s in quiet part of El Nido.

There was knocking on the room beside mine at an ungodly hour which made me jolt out of bed since I thought somebody was knocking on mine.

The staff was very polite

There was one staff who was a bald man who was very arrogant

Well maintained, had everything we needed. So conveniently close to the airport, beach and town. Shuttle service was great. This was our second stay in 2 1/2 years!

The chickens from the neighbouring property were quite loud most of the day. My daughter asked for a room transfer to avoid it and the staff responded promptly.

Far from the town , little expensive
