Holiday Inn Club Vacations Royal Haciendas All Inclusive

The Doctor Omar at the hotel medical center was great. He painterly took care of our sick child. Food was great. Although we travelled during high season, the hotel facilities and pool were adequate to serve the guests.

Facilities are OK but no match to Melia or other 5 stars hotels in the area

We stayed at The Royal Haciendas Resort & Spa in Cancun (Feb 15–22, 2026) and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience related to pricing transparency and guest treatment. Our reservation through Booking.com included one adult and one 15-year-old child, but due to what appears to be a booking-platform error, the child’s age was recorded as 0. The hotel allowed us to check in without mentioning any issue. However, on the second day of our stay, staff approached us and demanded an additional $812 USD as a price adjustment. We attempted to negotiate a reasonable modification and asked for time to resolve the issue with Booking.com, but the property declined any flexibility or discount. Initially, they charged for six days, then returned the next day requesting payment for the seventh day as well, resulting in two separate charges totaling $812. During this process, our room keys and services were restricted until payment was made, leaving us with no practical choice but to pay. We later learned from Booking.com support that the expected adjustment should have been approximately $400, making the amount charged feel excessive. Additionally, the charge was processed in USD rather than MXN, which was not advantageous for us. The resort itself is a timeshare place, and they will try to get you to sit through a 90-minute sales pitch, but you can still avoid it if you're skilled enough.

Az egyetlen, ami kevésbé tetszett, az a tengerpart. Ezen a parton sajnos túl nagy szél uralkodik, és emiatt hullámtörőkre volt szüksége a szállodának, ami kicsit elvett a látványból… de ez a szálloda színvonalát és minőségét nem befolyásolja.

Bra mat trevlig serviceminded personal ( de flesta) tror de har personalbrist vid den mindre poolen för personalen är är sura och tråkiga, vid den stora poolen och all annan personal är jättetrevliga. Fantastisk städning.

Stranden va helt förstörd och gick inte bada vid stora uppblåsta kuddar precis intill som låg där konstant. Fick tyvärr rum precis vid trappen intill baren d123 och det är sjukt lyhört. Så fort någon personal går med nån vagn låter det som ett tåg kommer. Och de börjar redan innan kl 06 .Vi påpekade men de brydde sig inte

Food was excellent, better than expected. Clean, large rooms. Reservation-only restaurants were also great. Great pools.

Beach was depressing. Huge concrete gabions lined the beach. A lot of beach erosion and algae. Had to walk up the beach to neighboring properties to be able to swim.

Rude staff, beaches not clean, vegetarian food options not good at all

Por razones naturales la playa se ha erosionado y el hotel está realizando esfuerzos para recuperarla, sin embargo, actualmente la playa es mínima, es posible por la playa caminar a playas aledañas porque son públicas pero el hotel tiene bloqueado el paso, por lo que uno tiene sortear un pasadizo difícil por las rocas para llegar a esas playas aledañas. Mi recomendación seria que el hotel habilite completamente el paso a las playas que colidan con el hotel tanto a la izquierda como a la derecha.

Fantastic place and mostly nice people around. Nice facilities and food!
