Not being able to make my dinner reservations for the week had to mad reservations day of which you didn't get sometimes so you don't know where or what you are going to eat each day

Food could be more flavorful. A lot was bland. Make have a snack bar or ice cream during the day. Better lighting in bathrooms.

Liked - place is spotless and very well maintained, staff constantly cleaning the grounds throughout our stay. - Staff are all great - really friendly and welcoming - Food overall great, particularly the breakfast - You could get loungers at any time of the day - Habachi grill was great fun with the kids - our chef was amazing! - The view from our room (E333) was incredible, we could watch the sunrise every morning - Rooms are huge, little dated but we enjoyed the space - Beach is small but well maintained with powdery sand Disliked - the hotel had lots of time shares and those guests get preferential treatment - e.g. booking the a la carte restaurants before hotel guests meaning that even when we called up at exactly 8am to book the latest availability all of the good times were already taken. We were also offered to join a sales presentation and advised that they could help us get restaurant bookings and deals on trips if we went, we declined as we weren’t interested in time share. But I don’t think hotel guests shouldn’t have to do anything to be able to get support like this. It wasn’t a hard sell but we weren’t big fans of this aspect. - kids weren’t allowed to sit at the swim up bar, which was annoying as ours like to join in with the fun. They were also quite strict on kids playing whilst on each others shoulders etc which as the pools had tonnes of space seemed unnecessary.

+ Kids pool & slides - despite AI, it a all about cross- and upselling every day - unfortunately stuff expects to be paid for their job (which should be included in the AI price ) but obviously if you don’t tip, stuff (95%) do not even their expected bare minimum of their job - beach: literally NO beach left (since the storm few years ago) - food: much food but every day similar, bad quality (I could not eat anything bcs of diarrhea after 4 days - I had to skip all food for some days) - special restaurants booking and food was very poor (not worth) and expectation for extra tips just for the booking is expected , otherwise good served is not made en minute (but you get most probably some already prepared or what was sent back) - they simply forgot / ignored my birthday - not even simple congrats , no special treat , nothing (this has Never happened to me at any location/event/company) , as the personal concierge was only happy if you bought additional services and he got his $$$ - any wish was declined (unless you wanted to pay for it) even small things like change room, refill mini bar as previous day (despite it was included) - parking service /valet service , as all other , if you don’t tip the expected amount, you can park your car yourself and be sure they park it in the sun for you - drinks: poor, much ice and less flavor /alcohol (despite it s included) Overall: overrated and no beach/ fun at the waterfront. If you love the American way of vacation and you calculate double expenses (AI price plus same amount for tips), then you might enjoy

It's our second time here and they did not disappoint. Food is great, staff is nice and friendly, the pool is wonderful and the gym is surprisingly well equipped. WiFi is great too. Very relaxed, laid back and friendly atmosphere - this is not a party resort, which was great for us. The suite was extremely spacious and comfortable, the terrace is just a delight, beds are comfy, place is spotless, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. Not that we were cooking at an all inclusive stay, but I'm just saying the option to cook comfortably and keep the space clean is there if you need it. If it also had a washer and dryer it'd be perfect...

Really small minuscule things that would not deter me from booking here again. We had to switch to another room on the last day because of the time shares, which would be fine if I wasn't waiting for a bell boy to come show us to the new room for over an hour and even then I had to call them a second time. The Jacuzzi on the balcony wasn't working, but we didn't bother to get it fixed as the other facilities in the hotel were more than enough. We got some room service and it was missing stuff that was on the item's description on the menu, which was a bit confusing. For example the yogurt is supposed to come with granola and honey, and then they write the option to get extra granola and honey, but we only got yogurt. When I asked the server about it they said I needed to specify that I wanted granola and honey... Why put it in the description then AND offer extra? If I order a club sandwich do I need to specify that I want it with lettuce, chicken and whatever is in it? Weird.
