3BR/3BA Charming Key West Style Home in Downtown Saint Augustine

The location to downtown was fabulous and the house was easy to access. The owners were easy to communicate with, quick to respond and arrival and departure instructions supremely easy to follow.

While we loved our time there, the foliage needs to be heavily trimmed back from the 2 main entrances and driveway and the jack and jill bathroom needs a stand alone bathtub rod and curtain for taking a shower with the shower head provided in the tub. Also, my new car that was parked in the rock driveway ended up getting a number of ants in it while on the property. Maybe an outdoor extermination?

It is conveniently located close to the historic district of town. It was comfortable and provided pretty much everything we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The neighbors themselves were polite. The kitchen had almost everything you needed to cook with except a can opener. It had plenty of hot water for baths and showers. It is an old house with old house problems but nothing that made me dislike the house.

The front of the house and the driveway were overgrown. You had to dodge the palm fronds getting into and out of the car. And when you pulled into the driveway, the palm fronds would beat the sides and roof of the car. Due to the overgrowth, the mosquitos were thick. Couldn't sit out front without covering yourself in repellant. The front door was hard to lock. Couldn't get the dead bolt to engage completely. The locks for the front bathroom doors were odd. Could lock one door from the inside, but the lock on the other door was located in the bedroom. That door wouldn't stay shut by itself, and the lock on the outside wouldn't completely engage.

A nice, roomy accommodation. We had a problem with the air conditioning while we were there but the host was most accommodating and called out an emergency repair person to fix it straight away. The sofa was super comfy and we liked the high table to sit at.

The bedding, the pillows and mattress were not the best

Roomy, 3 full baths, 3 bedrooms, stand up shower in laundry room. The house was charming just not efficient.

No Dressers to put clothes in like shorts etc. , no sitting chairs in bedrooms, no place to place clothes in baths, no real cabinets in kitchen had cookware hanging from ceiling hangers. Not good for short person. Yard all grown up with wild ferns, Hugh tree ,

Very clean and comfortable house, good location, we could walk to the Old Town. It was extremely hot but the central AC was awesome. Very charming, no smell, good beds and good WiFi. I would definitely rent it again.

Proximity to downtown St Augustine for 4th of July fireworks. Able to accommodate my 7 family members in one house instead of multiple hotel rooms.

Didn’t like that base rate of approximately $179.00 jumped up to final price of $502.00 because of a $265.00 cleaning fee. I’m sure that that was the reason the property was still available.

Nice clean home with all the room we needed. Host responded to every need and question very quickly. Home was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything. Just a quick drive to everything you want to see.

Host in the middle of making a couple minor repairs but nothing that affected us.

Lovely house, well appointed, lots of charm. Was a quick walk into St. Augustine's centre as well. Didn't stay long due to our plans, but would definitely go back 👍 Recommended 😀

Charming home, lots of room for everyone and lots of amenities to enjoy our stay. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. Home is close to town. Really happy we found this home and would happily recommend!

Would have appreciated 6 chairs instead of 4 at the dining table. Everything offered was just as promised, we just would have like to sit all at once to have dinner together :)
