Booking.com were very help to find alternative accommodation at last minute and ensured we had a full refund

we arrived and couldn't get in. Owner said they cancelled but never did. Message only sent via email on the morning of travel but not seen until arrival. Could not contact them at the time. No reason given for cancellation.

"One night in York"

Overall this is a great place to stay, in a great spot a 10 mins walk into York centre. The apartment is big and, although tired in places, clean and cosy.

The downstairs room is very cold, it's a shame you can't use the parking permit the day you check out.
