Das Personal war unfassbar freundlich und wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Natur. Die Angebote für Ausflüge oder Abendessen mit der Familie waren super! Es gab viele vegetarische Optionen. Auch mit der Wäsche hat alles gut geklappt.

An Authentic and Soulful Escape in Lao Chai ​We chose to stay in Lao Chai Village instead of the bustling center of Sapa, seeking a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature and it was exactly what we hoped for. This homestay offers a genuine connection with the host family in a simple, rustic setting. ​The Experience & Location The property is nestled right among the terraced rice fields by the river. Waking up to the fresh air and enjoying a home made breakfast on the spacious terrace was a highlight of our trip. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful, shared with free-roaming chickens, friendly well-behaved dogs, and even the occasional water buffalo wandering nearby (surprisingly, with no unpleasant odors at all!). ​Facilities & Services While the accommodations are simple—featuring cozy bedrooms with tea-making facilities and clean, 24-hours shared showers and toilets, the hospitality is exceptional. We highly recommend opting for a small extra fee for the home-cooked dinner prepared by the family; it was delicious and authentic. The hosts also offer guided trekking tours around the village mountains, which we found very rewarding. ​A Note for Travelers Please keep in mind that this is not a 5-stars luxury resort. The true value of staying here depends on your intellectual curiosity and appreciation for the environment. If you have a genuine interest in nature, the local culture, and the wisdom of the ethnic minority communities, you will find this place incredibly special. As a couple who values cultural immersion, we found our stay to be deeply fulfilling and beyond reproach.

Die Familie war sehr freundlich und hat zum Abendessen mit der Familie eingeladen (120VND). Das essen war super lecker. Das Zimmer war sauber und genau so wie auf den Bildern. Das Haus und der Garten laden zum verweilen ein. Von hier aus kann man sehr gut eine Wanderung starten und zur Abwechslung im Dorf (5 min zu Fuß entfernt) was essen gehen. Ich habe mir über die Familie ein Taxi morgens um 7:00 Uhr organisieren lassen was mich ins Zentrum von SaPa bringt. Mir wurde sogar was zum Frühstücken mitgegeben. Man muss bedenken, dass man sich das Badezimmer mit den anderen Gästen teilt. Es war aber immer alles sauber!

The Hosts Chu and Thu are extremely friendly. We spent three nights there and looked forward to the delicious dinner with the family every evening. We had a very good time with them. They helped us book a bus and a transfer. The region is very beautiful and we felt very comfortable in the accommodation. It was a little bit cold in Sapa but the blankets were warm enough.

Tutto decisamente tutto. Siamo stati due giorni alla Eco house di Too e Chu( non so se si scrivono così però) Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa dal primo secondo. Abbiamo cenato con loro, e tutto era squisito. Abbiamo anche fatto un bellissimo trekking tra i villaggi e le Rice terrace di 14 km con Too che è stata bravissima e ci ha spiegato mille cose interessantissime sulle piante officinali e la loro cultura. Fortunatamente in questo mondo esistono ancora persone così buone e genuine. Grazie mille davvero Che la vita vi possa donare ciò che desiderate 🙏 A presto
