H'mong Eco House

The house is beautiful and set in an idyllic location making it a perfect starting point for treks. The family are also very friendly and we enjoyed eating and drinking with them, as well as learning about their culture. Would really recommend if you have a few days in Sapa and want to get a bit further out from the city. The room does get a little bit cold, but a heated mattress is provided to help deal with that.

We had the most amazing stay with Thu and Chu! The homestay is located in a small village and you have two waterfalls right outside which you can see from the terrace. It was very quiet and a great place to watch the water buffalos, or walk to the neighbouring village. The room was perfect - it had a great size, a comfortable bed and even a heated mattress, which was so nice when it got a little colder. The shared bathroom was very clean and there was always hot water (as well as shampoo + shower gel). We felt immediately welcomed and enjoyed family dinners all 3 nights we were here - the food was delicious and it was also super fun to meet others and learn more about the Hmong culture when chatting to Thu and Chu! We wish we could have stayed longer and I would highly recommend staying here!

A big thanks to Chu & Thu for welcoming us into their home. We particularly loved the very tasty family dinners which were a great opportunity to chat with the family as well as the other guests. The room was cosy with a comfortable bed & heated mattress, the shared bathroom was clean & the peaceful location among the rice terraces was a great base for hikes, as well as to visit the cafes in nearby Ta Van village. Also the breakfast was excellent & huge.

The location and the views were just amazing.the family that welcomed us is a young couple with a baby and they were so very welcoming and kind. They make dinner for their guests if you decide to eat at the homestay you have dinner with them and the other guests which create a very interesting cultural experience and family-ljke atmosphere. The mattress in the bed is very modern and has a remote that can be used to heat it up on cooler nights.

For the price, everything was perfect for us, I highly recommend this place. There is a shared bathroom but it was always very clean.

Great owners. They prepared for us very tasty local dinner and coud have had a chat with them about local life. The weather was during our stay very cold (10C) and rainy. The electric pad in teh bed was awesome.

Perfect. The house is a Gem in a beautiful and peaceful place. The hosts simply amazing. It’s a true authentic experience for a reasonable price. I really appreciated the bed electric hiting.

The cozy and newly built timber house is surrounded by beautiful rice paddies and waterfalls, just above the traditional H’mong village. A great base for amazing hikes. The meals were delicious and filling, the rooms were warm in winter, and everything was very clean. But the best part was the hospitality and generosity of Chu, Thu and their family — they could not have been more kind to us, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We really enjoyed getting to know their family, playing cards and learning about their lives in beautiful Sa Pa. Thank you for everything!

The location is amazing, and the house owners really made it special. They are both so nice and helpful, and also discreet, really making you feel at home. The bed was super comfy and warm. I stayed for a whole 7 nights and it was bliss. The price is amazing, the food was lovely. Everything was perfect. Im going to go again next year.
