Very friendly staff comfortable accommodation. Everything you need for one night stay. Would go back.

We got locked into car park and we were leaving early next day. However I rang the owner and even though it was early nothing was too much trouble.

Really liked the provision of breakfast in the room and also the little private garden area. Also, eating in the pub was good, great menu choices.

We were getting an early ferry from Harwich the next morning, and this was nearby, excellently provided with cereals and juice in the room so we could eat before we left. The pub attached was also reasonably priced and good food.

Friendly staff, warm welcome, excellent beer and superb food, nice quiet comfy cabin, pretty village location.

bright and comfortable room. I enjoyed sitting outside on the bench in the enclosed grassed area beside the rooms and listening to the birds singing. Cereal, coffee, tea and orange juice provided in the room for breakfast. The food on offer for lunch and dinner in the Donkey is really good.
