The location, the peace and quiet. We were well supplied for breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meal we had one evening was excellent.

Good size for a few nights, quiet location, ideal as attached to excellent pub, very dog friendly and great food. The continental breakfast in the room was a brilliant bonus

Really welcoming and kind hosts based at the pub - the accommodation is a sort of annexe to the pub. The food in the pub is great and it's a lovely place for a drink too. There is an Instavolt rapid EV charger just down the road at the Health Spa - so this is great accommodation if you have an EV to charge.

The shower is a wet room so it does get rather damp on the floor and doesn't dry very quickly - but we just put a towel down so we could get to the loo and basin without soaking our socks!

Bed was small

We absolutely adore this place! During our first visit to this village in 2023, we discovered this pub and instantly fell in love. When planning our return trip, we realised they also offer accommodation, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay here. The room was super comfortable, with thoughtful breakfast essentials provided, which was a lovely touch. We had dinner in the pub both nights, and as always, the food was outstanding, the staff were fantastic, and the atmosphere was delightful. We can’t wait to come back next year. A huge thank you to Jan and the team! xx

There’s nothing didn’t like would love to stay again the people we met were welcoming bubbly and friendly thank you ever so much.
