We liked the charming and characterful pub (next door to our accommodation) with the lovely staff, the peace of the countryside and the very kind and thoughtful owner who was very helpful with our rather difficult timings. Nothing was too much trouble for her! The pub food was also delicious. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and comfortable and a little breakfast table was laid up.for us on arrival. We were on our way to a wedding nearby and this was the perfect place to stay.

I love staying at non chain places as you just can’t beat that personal touch & the fact the pub was right there with such an amazing atmosphere, staff, cracking food topped it off!
