Good location to the town and Lake. Comfortable beds. For us the bedrooms downstairs meant it was lovely and cool. Good strong water pressure on showers.

Extremely disappointed that the back garden was overgrown and not that safe on the stairs. It could of benefitted from having a manual to introduce you to the property and area Eg places to eat .. local hospital… always a good addition. So many wires loose behind the tv. Just needed sorting . But overall still good place to stay

Lovely, quirky property. Clean and tidy. If I am being totally honest, some of it was a little tired (marks on the settee, cupboard doors had been painted and there were a few chips) but it meant I wasn't worried about sitting down or using the facilities. Good location for the town and the parking made life much easier

The bedrooms were damp and mouldy. There was mould in the wardrobe, so we lived out of our suitcases. There was damp and water damage to the walls in the front room, and the kitchen had months of dirt built up on the shelves. The whole place was grimey. I called the property to complain as soon as we arrived, and they said we would receive a full refund, but then ignored ours and booking.coms attempts to contact them. There are many more photos but I was restricted as to how many I could upload.

Amazing place to stay so cosy and central to everything, easy area to park as its such a busy street a place that we will definitely be back to again again

A perfect place to stay right in the centre of Windermere. Very comfortable beds (and lovely and cool in very hot weather) Great little kitchen with all we needed. Fabulous having a parking place.

Close to the centre of Bowness. The cottage is clean, cosy & warm and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay (games & books too) Beds are super comfy! 2 bathrooms is a big plus, as is the convenient parking bay. Quirky 'upside down' layout giving a lovely airy lookout from the lounge. Would book again.

Could do with a spruce up in parts but for us, it added to the character of the cottage.

The whole place needs to be refurbished, I personally would not return. The outside area is unusable and the steps to it are a death trap!!.

Good location, good facilities. A good parking spot and good directions.

Som minor inconveniences. A heated drying rack was broken. Don’t really like the stairs.
