Location was great , value for money cottage with all you need for a weekend in Bowness

Bedrooms are nice but Bathrooms could do with some work on them

Rain came through double bedroom window, very drafty through front door, double bed was a bit too soft for us

What a great place this is to stay ! 10 minute walk from the lake and the accommodation was excellent 5star !

The location was handy for shops, pubs, and harbour. Quiet location. The property had one parking space available across the road. The cottage itself was cosy and comfortable. The sitting room could occasional get a bit cold, but had great heating.

There was nothing we didn't like. If you struggle walking up hill, take this into consideration when booking.

The location was prefect so near to the centre and the lake and prefect for us visiting our son. . It was certainty cosy and had very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms if not a little outdated. We had lovely clear communication from the hosts with check in details. But we were a little disappointed , you cannot guarantee the allocated parking space, even though its marked, if you go out for the day, meaning we had to find an alternative spot on on a busy road. As a courtesy we forewarned the hosts that the next guests may find trouble parking as the vehicle was still there when we left, but heard nothing from them as a reply to acknowledge this.

Great, central location and parking space also. Big two bedroom property, although it was just the two of us and two small dogs. Warm, clean, cosy property. Despite a couple of niggling issues we would definitely stay again.

A few niggling issues - no plug for the bath. The shower curtain over the bath was tiny - about 2-3ft wide, thankfully the other bathroom had a shower, although all the sealant has worn, so may cause issues in future, if not sorted. The double bedroom, larger window had water dripping in during the first day, with excessive rainfall. On checking where it came from, there's a lot of damp on the paintwork above the window.

The outdoor space was disappointing, Had to down steps and the furniture was very dated.
