(Apartment with Sea View - 6 people) - The views from the apartment were beautiful, both the window and balcony views were facing the sea. Great for watching the sunset, sunrise, and planes passing over. - Rooms were fairly clean, beds were comfortable. - Located within IMAGO Mall, so shopping and eating is super easy.

It seems there was flooding in Sabah the week before our visit, so on our first night, they relocated us to a room in The Sigar near Sutera Bay due to water supply issues. They only notified us of this change 2 hours before check-in when we were already on our way to the Loft. We also had to argue with them to upgrade our room because they were only willing to offer 2 king beds and a sofa bed for 6 people. We paid for 6 single beds. Luckily, we moved back to the Loft on our second stay. However, there were still issues: - Check-in and parking could be simpler: You need to pick up the access card from their housekeeping in front of Imago Mall at check-in time. Then, you need the card to access the Loft, the lift, and then the unit. For parking, you need to scan the card twice to access parking. Considering there is only ONE card for 6 people, this is annoying. Next time, you should supply a minimum of 2 or 3 access cards. - Our room was unlocked for more than 6 hours because the door was not locking properly. I was up until 1AM in the morning trying to ask the staff to come and fix the door, because they did not want to fix it immediately. Eventually, their technicians fixed it, but this is the staff's responsibility to explain how to lock the door properly, and ensure all facilities are in good condition. The door was in terrible condition and showed signs of damage. - We found locks and screws in the bottom kitchen drawer. Drawers should be clean before check-in, not filled with rubbish. - We paid for THREE bathrooms with a shower, but only got two with a shower because one was under maintenance. They never told us when this would be fixed and it was unusable the whole stay. Same with swimming pool, never told us when it was ready to use. For experienced travelers, these self check-in apartments are okay for a budget.

Kitchen and bathroom facilities .

Security steps a little bit complicated. Should have a receptionist to assist first time guests at the Loft.

The unit is very spacious and comfortable, making it ideal for large families. The kitchen is well equipped, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a toaster, which made it easy to enjoy instant toast anytime.All the rooms are large, bright, and well maintained, each with its own bathroom and shower. There are many sockets, and their placement is very practical and easy to access, unlike many other places I’ve stayed at.A washing machine is also provided, which is very convenient, especially for longer stays. Although the price is slightly higher, everything is worth it, and I would not mind paying more for this level of comfort and convenience.

Overall, everything was good. However, there were a few bathroom pipes that were not functioning perfectly, although they were still usable, so it was not a major issue.I also feel that a larger TV would be more suitable, as the unit is quite spacious and would be better complemented by a wider screen

The homestay is nice and offers a sea view, with 3 bedrooms, a living room. The apartment is also very large, spacious, and enjoyable for us. The Loft C Residence is in a different building, next to Imago Shopping Mall, and the parking area is conveniently located near the entrance.

The rubbish room is located next door to the unit, and during our stay there was occasionally a noticeable strong smell that could be detected inside the unit.

The staff is easy to reach by WhatsApp, communicative and supportive. Appreciate their help. Can walk straight down to IMAGO shopping Centre. Just a warning to all visitors - first time driving to the carpark on 4th floor can be confusing. - there are pillar numbers and there are numbers in the parking box ON the ground - we saw a lot of car got tyre cramped.

Only one set Key and Access Card is provided - we have 4 of us, very inconvenience. Second room is a bit small and the second bathroom is outside the second room, and water pressure for shower is pitiful. The unit is clean but not well maintained - toilet seat is loose, bathroom door is dirty, shower head seems to fall off anytime. Bed is too hard for comfort and too low. No microwave is provided. TV Box not working. Dryer in the washing machine is not working (it's a 2 in 1 machine). On a Saturday night, it took 2 hours to reach the 2nd carpark gate on 4th floor (which the parking pass only allowed 15 minutes from the 1st gate), and that caused all the trouble to call carpark security, who are definitely under staff - this is IMAGO carpark managemnt issue though; but still affect our experience of the stay. I do not normally leave much negative comments in my reviews but this unit really do not tick a lot of boxes.
