Alojamiento nuevo con encanto, personal encantador y buen desayuno. Es una buena opción para Weligama. La piscina muy recomendable. Hicimos un taller de joyería donde fueron encantadores y me ayudaron a realizar un anillo ideal.

100% recomendable alojarse en Sapiens Home - Weligama Bay. El hotel destaca por sus instalaciones limpias y modernas. Además de contar con una piscina increíble, tienen un espacio común en la última planta con sillones y sofás donde poder descansar. El personal es encantador y estuvo en todo momento muy atento y pendiente a nuestras necesidades. El alojamiento cuenta con desayuno que no recomiendo saltárselo.

La playa se encuentra a diez minutos en tuk tuk.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and included a fridge, which was a nice touch. We loved the beautiful views over the river, and the pool area was clean and inviting. The large common area was perfect for relaxing, eating, and socializing, and the location was peaceful—tucked away from the main road. A special highlight was the thoughtful surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. The staff went out of their way to arrange a cake and even decorated the bed with a birthday message. It truly made his day and meant a lot to both of us. Highly recommend this place for a memorable and relaxing stay!

The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been if our breakfast preferences weren’t asked in advance—we were simply served an omelet, toast, and fruit. While the portion was generous and the quality was great, I have dietary allergies to the ingredients that were in the omelet and bread and could only eat the fruit. It would be much more inclusive to offer a few choices for egg styles and sides. That said, the food itself was fresh and well-prepared, and the fruit was delicious. With just a small adjustment, breakfast could be a real highlight to match the rest of the stay!

The view from the rooms were beautiful, overlooking the pool and the river. The 2 cats were adorable!

Trying to get into the hotel was a struggle- you can’t take a van/ car to be parked. This means that you have to walk through the mud to get to the hotel. The construction work while you’re try to relax was not ideal. The bits of paint, random mattresses in the hallway were not aesthetically pleasing.

The room was big, the breakfast was good, the staff in the kitchen were very nice and attentive. The view from the room was calming and beautiful as it looked out to the river, flanked by the pool. It was a sight to look at and was surrounded by a vibrant shade of green from the trees and plants.

The entrance to the property from the alley road was very messy. It is a garage. There was nobody at the counter. The property was in the middle of some construction/redecorating, and everything looked messy. We had to wait 45 minutes to get checked in. Properties should inform future/present guests if there is work being done in the property, especially if it affects the guests. They might not want to stay there. PS: There was only 1 bright ceiling light. There were lamps, but they didn't work. Not compatible with the sockets in the room. IDK why they're there.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The personel was very accommodating. They schedule different activities such as jewellery making, drawing and yoga, which is fun.

Keep in mind that the tax is not included in the price. Not a bad thing, but just to stay on top of your budget.
