CAThe staff at the front desk make this hotel a very special stay. The two women we had contact with were so lovely. Both had excellent English, were so helpful and offered great restaurant advice. Nearby Shree Ram Indian vegetarian restaurant was outstanding. The hotel breakfast is excellent and served in a gorgeous room. The hotel is a fairly short walk from the Entrecampos train station and also an easy walk to the metro to get to the airport. Upon arrival you’re either given a glass of port or a bottle is left in your room. What a lovely welcome. We stayed here at the start and end of our month long Portugal trip. We stayed in two rooms, one needing attention after the storms that hit the area. We moved to room number four and it is gorgeous. Lovely high ceilings, big bedroom and huge bathroom by hotel standards plus a nice sitting room made this hotel a standout. We took the train to the Algarve from this hotel. The train is inexpensive and a gorgeous scenic trip. This hotel was so convenient for accessing trains, both regional and the metro.
For our first stay, we were in room number six which was damaged by the storms that hit Portugal in January. There was water damage on the wall by the tea/coffee station, the light over the coffee maker and kettle was missing which made preparing coffee or tea a challenge. There was also water damage and mold in the bathroom by the skylight. In normal conditions this would have been a turn-off but we appreciated how challenging it would be to get workers in to repair this damage from unprecedented weather events. On our second visit we were moved to room number four which let the hotel shine. It’s so beautiful and completely changed our thoughts of the hotel. Gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again but would want insurance that the damage is fixed. The lovely staff make everything worth it.

RUIt was a wonderful stay. The house itself feels like stepping back in time. Every detail tells a story — the books, the pictures on the wall, the lamps, the staircase, the chandelier. We were truly impressed. The service was perfect, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. The only possible downside might be the location, but for us it was actually very convenient since it’s close to the airport.

Chambre donnant sur rue beaucoup trop bruyante... heureusement nous avions des boules quies pour la nuit. Mais genant en journee si vous voulez rester dans la chambre. CHoisir une chambre donnant sur l'arrière
FRLe lieu est magnifique, la décoration est moderne. Le petit déjeuner était incroyable et il était très agréable de prendre un verre dans le salon après une journée de visite. Merci pour ce superbe séjour et pour toutes les petites attentions qui font la différence.
