HUStaff was well mannered, but was no help in our predicament. Breakfast and the cleanliness was decent.
I must say that what convinced me to book the hotel for our honeymoon were the pictures that are presented of the place on the advertisement. I happily booked the annex room uncautiously believing that what I am booking are the pictures presented of the main building. Right after completing my nonrefundable booking I was more obviously confronted by the fact that I have in fact booked a room outside the desired main building. I have immediately contacted the hotel, they have confirmed that indeed I have not booked in the main building. I have requested to change the booking if possible to be inside the main building willing to pay the difference. I have not received a meaningful reply for my request, which was worrying but we were busy with the wedding and let it slip. Also I have made my peace with the fact that the annex room looked decent and I have informed the hotel that we are spending our honeymoon there. We had a warm welcoming the first evening. We thought that finally we'll get to enjoy a well deserved rest and romance, after a whole year of planning the wedding just to be woken up at 8am sharp by a power drill, drilling into the wall right by our heads. I have made my piece with the fact that even though I believed the advertisement was misleading and I have been cheated into booking an inferior room by looking at images of the main building, I blamed myself for being uncatious. But after expecting to spend some romantic days and nights with my wife on our honeymoon, there was no rest to be had in the hotelroom and there was no warning about the horrible situation prior, not even when we got there. That is just unnaceptable. It was impossible to relax in our room from 8 in the morning till 6 in the evening. I have contacted the management right away and they shrugged of my complaints, almost even taunting us that it's okay because in two days time on the weekend we'll get to rest. Honeymoon ruined.
CHGreat romantic hotel close to the modern part of Lisbon. Very friendly staff. Great recommendations for dinner. Gorgeous room. Excellent port wine in the lobby. Pool!

Parken im Hotelvorplatz war nicht erlaubt. Nächste Parkmöglichkeit (öffentliche Tiefgarage) 6 Autominuten entfernt, bzw. zu Fuß zurück 11 min.
GBbreakfast was incredible and fresh and the rooms were so gorgeous. Literally couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. the staff were so attentive and thoughtful throughout and made sure our stay felt special. would highly recommend.

GBFront of house staff were very friendly. Fab clean cosy room, to include all amenties required.. Beautiful neo-classical building, well maintained and oozed love and comfort. Little touches of the drinks on arrival, pastal de nata, and water in the room incites a feeling that you are a valued customer. Perfect location. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
