Friendly staff, very clean, comfortable beds, nice kitchen

Really nice stay! Room was great, pool is really nice, breakfast is simple but fine - and there's an egg station for freshly cooked eggs! Mr Koi on the front desk was REALLY helpful - he can help you out with whatever you like and also give suggestions. He took my wife+daughter to a nearby pharmacy when she had ear problems. Highly recommend!

Obviously nowhere is perfect, but honestly, the cons here are so insignificant they're not worth mentioning.

The apartment was amazing, very big and comfortable it was the best place we stayed in all of Vietnam for comfort. So spacious and modern

The breakfast was quite simple and wish we could have some more options. But was ok, and the manager is very helpful and nice

The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful and did everything they could to help us and make our stay enjoyable. The upstairs pool was a real bonus.

The kitchen had no dishwasher liquid or cloths for wiping down the bench. The pipe in the kitchen leaked.

The staff were exceptional, really helpful with tours local info and arranging laundry. It was a bit disappointing that the pool was out of service, but that was due to damage from Typoon Yagi. Great location would reccommend. Sad to see all the damage caused to Cat Ba by Yagi

Just that the pool was out of action, but no fault of the property or staff.

The villa provided brilliant facilities for our family of 5 in a 2-bedroom suite with air con. Each time we used it, we had the small pool to ourselves as no one else seemed to be around. The location is perfect for the Cat Ba day trip activities that we wanted to do (a one day boat trip & a half day deep water climbing, as well as airport bus pick up on our final day). There’s a great choice of restaurants within easy walking distance and a nice 5km circular walk taking in 2 lovely beaches (Cat Co 1 & 3) and the rock trail coast path which joins them. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, our rooms were quiet which I really appreciated! There wasn’t any natural light in the apartment but that didn’t matter as we were outdoors a lot anyway.

On the first day we chose to have the buffet breakfast at the sister hotel down the street but the choice/freshness wasn’t great. Our 2nd day was Sunday and we asked to have breakfast at the villa but it wasn’t available that day. For our final day we had breakfast in the roof cafe at the villa and it was simple but perfect enjoying the sounds of the town from the rooftop while we ate.

Spacious apartment with two bathrooms, in a great location. My children loved the rooftop pool. The manager is super friendly and helpful. He helped us with an onward journey involving an electric bus, bus, speedboat and car. It went so smoothly, we were very impressed!

Breakfast could be better. One morning it was very basic (bread rolls, plain yogurt, one type of fruit). The next day it seemed to have improved with more fruit options available. There was freshly squeezed juice but it wasn’t chilled. The coffee was good.
