Beautiful dramatic interiors.

That the photos of the suites shown online are a bit misleading. The top floor is very big but small windows and not the vibe of the hotel. But the ones below are much more charming.

"Beautiful hotel in the heart of Lisbon!"

This is a fabulous hotel! The staff is kind, courteous, and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the Alfama area, a great location to walk to the main sights. Breakfasts are great, too!

We enjoyed everything! The staff are there 24/7 ready to help and ensure you have a great stay. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building that is preserved as much as possible, but with modern touches for comfort.

from the time we walked in the door the service was excellent. Breakfast on the patio was beautiful and delicious. Highly recommend. location is perfect for walking around the best neighborhood of lisbon

Wonderful old world charm - modern conveniences - fun room - great friendly staff - fantastic view to the river - delicious breakfast!!

No complaints! True - stairs are a pain but all that is explained - and what would one expect anyway from a hundred plus years old building - right?!

"I didn’t want to leave."

Every day started with the most beautiful, relaxing breakfast served outside under a canopy of bougainvilleas and ended with a bottle of rose overlooking the river from our private terrace… life can’t get much better!

I wouldn’t change a thing!
