Sky Tower Serenity + Rooftop Pool

The facilities like the spa pool n tennis court.

The process we had to go through when checking in. was difficult compared to other places we’ve stayed at.

Host was very easy to communicate with and very nice. Great location with a good view of the sky tower and being able to watch people jump off was great entertainment. Pool, gym and spa pool were all amazing

Gives the impression of being part of the sky tower which it is not. avarag facilities and experience for an Auckland apartment . good but nothing special

The bed was super comfortable. The washer/dryer was a godsend. The decor is a bit Femme B&D. Gave us a chuckle.

The check in was an ordeal. It starts with a series of quite condescending “rules” you have to email back and agree on. Check in is later than usual, at 3pm. Then they say you will get the information about to get the key before 3pm, but 3pm came and went and no information. Another email… thank goodness I paid for roaming because without a phone you would be stuck! Finally get the information… the key is kept in a lock box half a kilometre from the accommodation… then we couldn’t find the accommodation… warning, it is not called Sky Serinity… it’s in the HERITAGE HOTEL! Of course the hotel was unmanned, so it took a while to find out where the apartment is… we actually didn’t get into the apartment until 4pm. Which was interesting considering the prescriptive rules and consequences if you were late checking out! It’s actually NOT a one bedroom apartment, it is a STUDIO and actually quite small. There is a partial view of the sky tower amongst the other high rise apartment blocks. And unless you want the neighbours in the adjacent apartments to see you while they are on their balconies… you need to keep the curtains closed!

Great apartment and location.

Check in was not straight forward. This is an Airbnb and the key pick up is 250m down the hill on a one way road (which goes the opposite direction than you need to go). I'm not a big fine print person and had missed the line at the bottom of the email which said the key code won't be given until you send a photo of your drivers license and accept the terms and conditions. There's no button to click to accept them you have to text them "I accept the terms and conditions". They were easy to contact by phone and helped us straight away when we weren't sure how to get the code. . Once we sorted this out everything else was great.
