The New Inn

All great apart from road noise. Didn’t see ear plugs until the morning. Might be worth mentioning when guests arrive.

The room design, decor and cleanliness were all exceptional. The staff, particularly Tom the Manager, really went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. The attention to detail, including the availability of locally sourced produce, showed a pride in the area that will make you want to come here again.

There was some road noise which is almost inevitably with many roadside inns.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Car parking was good. Good outside garden . Dinner was okay.

Small bathroom bed very uncomfortable and duvet much too heavy and hot. Breakfast very limited and close to appalling. Yoghurt very sour and inedible. Not only our thoughts but also other guests. When we asked for a pastry was told they had run out even though we were the 3rd and 4th people down to breakfast. No bread available only toast as bread was frozen.

A perfect stay! The staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and approachable. They made us feel so welcome from the second we walked through the doors. Check in was easy and the room was lovely and clean; the cookies were an added bonus! We also ate dinner in the restaurant part which was lovely and well-priced.

Very cute pub, nicely decorated rooms and comfortable. Easy to get to Symonds Yat and other tourist areas.

The road traffic is very loud, although they do kindly provide ear plugs, and some members of the group slept through it.

very nice Inn, new, newly refurbished and well maintained, the rooms were very nice and a great place to stay, you do need a car, (they have a car park). the staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We will go back again.

Very minor but - no tray in the (new) shower to put soap etc.

Staff were all wonderful but particular shout out to Tom. Very comfortable sleep. Some lovely thoughtful touches from toiletries to ear plugs and ground coffee with cafetière in the room. Great shower! There was also a great selection of tea, coffee and optional oat milk in room. Continental breakfast was excellent. Evening menu was really special and the garden was a lovely atmosphere for a drink too. Looking forward to coming back again.

We were disappointed the bar closed at 8pm and no longer serving food in the evening
