Whitewater Hotel & Spa

Amazing location. Everything you need for a relaxing stay away close by. Staff were lovely and very helpful throughout our stay. Nice indoor pool facilities. Amazing food in the restaurant in the evenings. Short walk from a cafe and motor museum.

Okay I was phoned to inform me of a wedding, expecting it to be noisy Saturday night. Friday was very loud, Saturday was fine but I knew from Friday the noise would be awful, if it was loud, as the room I was in was very loud Friday night from the car park. The room was lovely and would have been a really good stay if it had a hairdryer and it would have been fine if fixed on the Saturday. My report was ignored even though the staff member wrote it down on a post it note and stuck it on the computer screen. Overall staff were pleasant but not responding to requests that were advertised was not okay.

The room was supposed to have a hairdryer, it was wet and cold weather. The hairdryer didn’t work, I reported it and was told it would be sorted. On return checked hairdryer still not working. Went down to report again and was told there were no spares and all the rooms were in use so the next morning I had to leave again in wet cool weather with wet hair. Finally third night it was sorted by the member of staff I reported it to the second night.
