Beautiful location. This hotel must have been sensational when it was new but it feels like the profits are going to shareholders now rather than to upkeep. I was just staying for work so didn't use the spa.

My room was on the ground floor with a view of car bumpers in the car park. The room decor is from a time when a trouser press and a telephone were essential items. The non working fridge was hidden behind a door screwed shut but everything else was functional. Food menu was limited and average quality in restaurant.

Clean and tidy, just a little old and tired in bits.

The beds were very uncomfortable unfortunately

The room was old, dirty radiators, under the sink was filthy, whole room was in need of a make over
