Whitewater Hotel & Spa

The location was very good. You can see river just next to the hotel and enjoy cold drinks outside the bar. The food was especially good. We stayed at the hotel the whole day and used all the facilities such as sauna, swimming pool and jacuzzi. We didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy delicious food which was the highlight of the stay. We really enjoyed our stay. I certainly recommend this hotel.

Great location and views

Seem to have internal politics between manager and a young set of staff. Often felt like staff thought they were doing us a favour when we ordered food/drink. Not very customer focused and seemed to be showing local regulars much more attention/priority.

The breakfast was awesome.

What we didn’t like about is they don’t have resources like simple anti sickness medication, staff were not responsive enough to the need of the guest, given that you need to drive 15 minutes away from chemist, called twice to query for it but no help given. No details of bringing own swim wear and no rental place for it, as we wanted to use it.The use of spa in cascade was unsuccessful, I emailed them regarding the booking longtime before coming however they replied that its okay to attend walk in, so we called on the day to query about the massage they said that we needed booking. I booked table for my birthday long time after i booked the hotel however on the day we arrived our name was not on the list and on top of that, the menu was not good no option for great dinner meal it was all the same the whole time we were there, was even given wrong order. The room was fine at first however the longer our stay, dust and mold marks are visible. Its understandable the facility is old but it doesn’t mean to be underwhelming, expectation vs reality hits hard. I booked it for my birthday trip but was disappointed all through out.

It was in a good location. The staff were really friendly and made us feel really welcome. They went the extra mile to help make our 40th wedding anniversary special

It is a bit dated in places. The spa facilities needs refurbishing
