City Centre Town House with City Views and Free Parking 7FSBI

A short walk from city centre with parking space. Well equipped with comfortable beds and sofa.

Hot water ran out on two out of the three evenings when only used for washing up and washing hands. Owner did offer to come out the morning after the first occurrence to check the boiler, but we assumed it was just a glitch so said it was ok. Just to add an extra comment on the owners response that the hot water tank is on all the time, this was not true. We hadn’t even been in the property during the afternoons so if the boiler was on constantly we would have had hot water to wash up in the evening and for a bath which we did not have. We have stayed in many self catering properties across the UK and have never run out of hot water before.

Location perfect. Easy walking distance from the town centre (shops, restaurants, attractions etc.) either on foot (via river walk if desired) or by bus. Once the car was parked it was not used again for the duration of our stay.

The bathroom door needs a hook on the inside for hanging dressing gowns and so on. Internet connection could have been better, i.e. it was a bit slow with a number of concurrent connections.

When the host asked for feedback she was rude and defensive. I had some concerns and they weren't addressed just dismissed and tried to pass the blame into us even though they were pertaining to the property.

The house was in a quiet location. Very comfortable . Clean and tidy. Everything you needed in the house. Shops close by. Plenty of space. Not to far to town centre. Would stay again.
