Even though house wasn’t going be ready until 15.00 the host went out of their way to meet us a few hours earlier with the keys and the parking pass so we could park up and go for a wander until the house was finished. The location of the house is fantastic as it’s only a short walk to the city centre and most of the attractions. Although we didn’t spend much time in the property It was exactly what we needed for our couple of days/nights away in York. I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again 5⭐️

Lovely home that was not too far from the city centre and about a 20 minute walk from the railway station. Very clean and the showers were lovely.

We had a great stay at this property. The en-suite was an added bonus and made one of the bedrooms extra convenient. We really enjoyed the media wall — a great touch for relaxing.The facilities were excellent, and the whole place was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed. The host was friendly, approachable, and accommodating, even offering us multiple sets of keys for added flexibility. Would definitely recommend!

Just a couple of small things that could make a great stay even better. The main bathroom door didn’t lock, which made things slightly tricky when sharing. Also, we weren’t aware that the windows were all locked, and it would’ve been helpful to know that ahead of time — especially from a safety perspective in case of an emergency. A quick note about this for future guests would go a long way. Otherwise, everything else was lovely!
