Excellent breakfast Exceeded all expectations

Unfortunately, on arriving I became ill and felt unable to stay in that environment so we left after 2-3 hours. Regardless of being ill, we wouldn't have stayed on.

I really don't know where to start, the room was extremely small, dingy and full of cobwebs. There were no complementary toiletries, no "mountain view", only one set of towels. The garden beds/hanging baskets etc. were beyond their best, the "tea garden" appeared to be shut down. Given it was BH Monday when we arrived,, were were apparently the only guests until the Thursday. The 5/5 or 4/5 reviews didn't seem justified from our experience.

It wasn’t the property but access through the grammar school gates was tight with a big car

Lovely choice of breakfast excellent service. Great location property near o local pubs and restaurants. Very pretty garden.Friendly staff.

No lighting outside for smokers and couldn't find ash tray.

Lovely friendly hosts who go above and beyond to help. Food was very good, both breakfast and 3 course evening meal. Lovely quiet location with beautiful garden.

Creaky bed, signage to entrance is confusing. The sign on the grammar school gate indicates a left turn but before you go left, you need to go though the narrow grammar school gates and reverse immediately left down a narrow track which takes you to the School House cottages. The School House B & B at the front is a separate business.
