School House Cottage B&B and tea garden

The School House was absolutely beautiful! From the gardens to our room which was the Headmaster bedroom. Beautifully decorated and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The full English breakfast was delicious. We were welcomed like friends when we arrived and left like old friends. There is nothing I can fault here and already making plans to return.

There was nothing to dislike here at all.

Lovely B&B good food, very friendly host, nice and clean with a good location to explore the lake district.

Nothing could be better. It was perfect..

Fabulous location right in the heart of Hawkshead, with ample free parking. Steve and Sharon are such lovely hosts and went well above & beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. The dining room and communal entrance hall are lovely comfortable areas, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast and service were both really nice!

The property is smaller than we expected, especially our bedroom, but this is probably our own fault for not checking... It is a great place and I would definitely stay again, but do just be aware of the bedroom size when you book.
